The 'Jumping to next' syndrome!

The protagonist is in the 30th year of his life and the cycle of events in this one would also soon be completed. But this 'year completing' activity has not been very fulfilling one. The acts undertaken, the thoughts thought, the path rode' have not been very satisfying. The protagonist knows that this is not what humans are supposed to intend as one is not the only one for whom things are happening in this physical world, there's a presence of a lot deeper strategy or theory of 'how things work in here'. Nothing is satisfactory here at all times.

What are, we, humans supposed to intend is to dig ourselves from the inside. The protagonist vaguely remembers a saying as he writes that "self-awareness is the most helpful piece of knowledge' for one. Our knowledge about ourselves continuously gets updated, as we undertake worldly acts, in the sub-conscious mind i.e. at the back of our mind, only to come as a sudden awakening of self-realization like the protagonist is experiencing at this very moment. This knowledge lets one to come to terms with oneself and asks a question in the face "does one really knows what one is supposed to do with this life one's been given?". Is one supposed to answer this question in one's own way?  Is what everyone is doing out here by undertaking acts of one's liking within the realm of the man made society? There are lots of answers to these questions to get your little used brain confused. If someone says one knows it perfectly, one is not absolutely true, one's just compromise one's thoughts.

One major breakthrough the protagonist made out of this sudden awakening of self realization is a syndrome which the protagonist is suffering from which the protagonist has titled "jumping to next" syndrome. Inhere one is unable to answer these questions mentioned above and even when one is able to answer it partially one gets drawn into the world and gets influenced by already thought out answers. Due to this, one gets oneself to a set of activities only to get influenced by another set of them due to the realization of the non-relevance of the set of activities undertaken earlier. But when this cycle repeats itself thrice or quadruple times the moment of sudden self-awakening ticks, which is what making the protagonist write this.

This confuses the protagonist more about the questions mentioned inhere. But what if one is supposed to undertake different things by simply hopping onto those things one by one in his lifetime without any pressure of going deep into it. What if this is one's way of answering those questions.

"As its been said, its a not a thing to be completely known".
